Begin standing straight and both arms at your side. Then, take a step forward with your either left or right leg creating a triangle. After, carefully bend the knee in front of you and lift up and down multiple times. Lastly, repeat the same process with the opposite leg. Do it repeatedly in equal amounts for both legs.

Push-Ups

Push-ups are a common exercise that improves the core, shoulder, and arm strength. Doing push-ups daily will keep your whole body strengthened and toned.

Begin with a plank position and make sure that your whole body is upright straight. Push your navel into the spine to engage your core. Next, slowly bend your elbows while your whole body stays parallel to the ground. Continue to push and pull your body multiple times and complete at least ten push-ups daily.

 

However, if you are a beginner and can’t perform the standard push-up. You can do so by modifying. You can start in a plank position and bend both your knees until you reach the ground. After, you do the same steps as the standard push-up but with both your knees on the ground.

Squats

Squats are an effective exercise to accelerate the strength of the core and the lower body. It will also induce flexibility to your hips and lower back by engaging these large muscles in your body. Doing squats are also effective in burning calories.

Begin by standing straight and your feet must be far apart to ensure balance. Engage your core by pulling your navel into the spine. After slowly bend both your knees as if you are about to sit in a chair with your chest and chin stays in an upright position. Repeat the steps at least 20 times.

Burpees

Burpees in another effective exercise if you want to tone your whole body. It also improves cardiovascular endurance and increases muscular strength.

Begin standing in an upright position with your arms at your side. Next is to lift your arms in front of you and start squatting down. As your arms reach the ground, hop your legs backwards to form a push-up position. After, hop both your legs in between your palms and stand straight while bringing both your arms above your head and make a jump. Repeat this process for at least 10 times and increase when you build endurance.

Planks

Doing planks are a simple yet effective exercise that will engage your abdominal muscles. It will also help in toning your whole body without any strains in the back. Planking is one exercise that you can simply do in the morning.

Start in your push-up position with your hands and toes firmly rests on the ground. Engage your core by pulling your navel into your spine and keep your back straight and your body parallel to the ground. Next is to tuck your chin slightly inwards and keep your gaze in front of you. Take a calm and deep breath and maintain the intense tension in your shoulders, abs, triceps, glutes, and quad muscles. Stay in that position for a minute and repeat daily.

 

Daily exercise is important for your wellness. Pair it with a healthy diet and a lot of water intake and you will see how your holistic health and physical appearance improve in a matter of months. However, exercise routines must be modified and improved. If ten push-ups will seem to easy in the long run, add some more until you develop a routine that will fit your current capabilities.
